The 09 Infinit Inferno burnt out over the weekend with some seriously hot laps laid down by Redback Cycles, Team Dash and Andy Mallett. The second race saw Mark Frendo return to his winning best. Mark has the distinction of winning the very first Epic in 2005. Jo Rowell displayed her form taking out the women's solo category.

Directions from Brisbane: Head out along the Warrego Highway, turn left at Marburg onto the Marburg Rosewood Rd. At Laidley turn right onto the Rosewood Laidley Rd and travel west to Grandchester. Cross the railway at Grandchester and head south on the Granchester Mount Mort Rd to Old Hidden Vale. The property entrance is on the right 1,500 metres past the main gate of Peppers Hidden Vale.
