This was such a super event! We all had a ball. The 3plus3 aspect of the race simply worked. It was nice to be able to do some hard work, and relax after with a wine, without the pressure of having to ride throughout the night as would be felt in a 24 hour. I love 24 hours they're awesome, but this was great for a change. Turns out to be good training as well for the Epic.
The track was so much fun, really challenging, yet all parts remained rideable. We were also really impressed with the organisation of the race. Even the simple things like providing quality zip ties and laminated numbers made the difference. Maybe next time leave a sign out the front (eg "mtb race"), as a few of us missed the turn off. But other than that well done!! Definitely keen to enter more of your events.
Thank you for putting on such a wonderful event, and also providing such beautiful weather :)
Cheers
Trish
