Old Hidden Vale is a 12,000 acre working cattle property that features the Peppers Hidden Vale Retreat. The property hosts the annual Flight Centre Cycle Epic, Australia’s longest running mountain bike marathon.

In 2007, the property was gazetted as a Nature Refuge and the habitat hosts a wide range of native fauna can been seen on the property including the brush-tailed phascogales, koalas, white-striped freetail bats, lace monitors  several skink, wallaby and bird species. All of this is less than 70 minutes from the CBD of Brisbane.

The property also offers a rustic cabin accommodation experience suitable for families and mountain bike groups.

The cabins that are situated at the foot of the ‘Little Liverpool Range’ are surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery. Soak up the tranquillity, magical sunsets, relax by the campfire and enjoy the bush setting.

Staying at the cabins is a great base for conducting bush walks or mountain bike rides on the property bike or farm tracks.

The Old Hidden Vale cabins can be reached by horseback, mountain biking, hiking or by 4WD.

Cabin Details:
• 2 Cabins, each consisting of 8 bunk beds.
• Combustion heaters in both cabins.
• All eating and cooking equipment.
• Toilets and showers block.
• Solar electricity.
• Hot and cold water.
• Gas BBQ, undercover eating area seats and tables.
• Campfire area.

Costs per night:
$176 per cabin plus a refundable $99 bond (leave the cabins clean and remove your rubbish to have bond refunded).
